Mount Carmel's rehabilitative services are customized to meet individual patient needs. Our sub-acute medical and rehabilitative services are comprehensive, cost effective and geared towards community re-entry.

The focus of the Transitional Care Unit is of short term rehabilitation and medically complex nursing care.

We have 52 beds, semi-private rooms with telephone and cable.

Our Staff; including medical specialists, nurses, social workers and dieticians work with your physician to establish a comprehensive treatment plan including:
- Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies
- Weekly discharge planning meetings
- Dietary assessments
- Pharmaceutical consultations
- Respiratory therapy
- 24 hour skilled nursing
- IV therapy
- Pain management
- Wound Care team
- Complex diabetes treatment
